UBS thinks Intel Apples due in January: "

UBS thinks Apple’s got strong offerings in their current iPod lineup and with the new iMac they’re pimping, sure, but what’s interesting is that their Semiconductor Research Team believes an Intel-based Mac mini could be due as early as Macworld in January — but they’re still holding fast to late 2006 / early 2007 estimates for the arrival of the first Intel PowerBooks and Power Macs. Of course we’d be in a slight bit of trouble if we took every analyst’s report as god’s honest truth, but it’s not without the realm of possibility, and it’s certainly not like people aren’t chomping at the bit for Intel Macs. Oh, and did we mention that last week Apple officially versioned the x86 port OS X to match the latest version of PowerPC OS X, 10.4.3?
