Nightlink - Public Transport - Brisbane
If you live in Brisbane like myself and have often wondered why public transport doesn’t run during the early hours of the morning…
Well now it does for the next 6 months!
NightLink is the name given to the all night public transport services that will run on Fridays and Saturdays. TransLink is funding a six month trial of these services to help improve safety in the Inner City Brisbane and to get patrons home after a night out. The trial starts on Friday 2 December 2005 to coincide with the festive season, when there is extra demand for late night transport services.
Brisbane Transport and QR Citytrain are providing these services on behalf of TransLink.
Remember these services are being trialled. We want them to continue but we need your help - so please use them or you'll lose them!
